Community Development Block Grant & HOME Program CCHRA Recommend Project Allocations June/July 2022
Cumberland County was awarded $1,251,178 in Program Year (PY) 2022 CBDG funds and $595,520 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Additionally, the County has $203,876.36 in CDBG funds available from previous PYs. The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (CCHRA) issued a Request for Applications in March for PY 2022 CDBG and HOME funds. CCHRA received 24 CDBG applications totaling $2,254,665.14 and 2 HOME applications totaling $1,100,000.00 in requests.
The Cumberland County Redevelopment Authority has presented the following funding recommendations to the County Commissioners. The Commissioners will take action on the recommendations and approve the submission of the PY 2022 Annual Action Plan for the CDBG and HOME programs at the July 25, 2022 Commissioners Meeting.
