Notice of Public Hearing, Cumberland County PY 2020 CAPER

Cumberland County is required to make available for public review and comment the activities that it undertakes with its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) funds and the returns on these important community investments. To that end, the County has prepared its Consolidated Annual Performance & Evaluation Report (CAPER) for Program Year 2020 (January 1 - December 31, 2020). The CAPER’s intent is to report on the County's progress in achieving the goals and objectives for the CDBG and HOME programs outlined in its Five-Year Consolidated Plan, specifically during Program Year 2020. The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at its virtual Workshop Meeting to review the CAPER and receive public comments at 9:00 a.m. on May 13, 2021. The Commissioners will take final action on the approval of the CAPER during their regularly-scheduled Virtual Board Meeting on May 17, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. The CAPER is due at U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) offices on May 30, 2021.

The CAPER Executive Summary will be available for public review and comment for a 15-day period beginning on April 28, 2021, and ending on May 12, 2021, on the Cumberland County Housing & Redevelopment Authorities’ (CCHRA) website,, as well as at at the following physical locations: Cleve J. Fredricksen Library, 100 N. 19th St., Camp Hill, PA 17011, during its regular hours of operation; Bosler Memorial Library, 158 W. High St., Carlisle, PA 17013, during its regular hours of operation; and the Coy Public Library, 73 W. King St., Shippensburg, PA 17257, during its regular hours of operation.
