CCHA Seeks Board Members for Affordable Housing Trust Fund

The Affordable Housing Trust Fund was established by Cumberland County Ordinance 1996-1. Its purpose is to raise revenues to enable Cumberland County residents to purchase or rent quality housing in the area.

The Cumberland County Affordable Trust Fund (AHTF) Board is comprised of 9 to 15 members. The current term is two years and members can be appointed for any number of terms. All board members are appointed by the County Commissioners. Meetings are held quarterly and all Board members are expected to attend regularly to participate in voting and making recommendations. As per the program bylaws, Board members should originate from the following categories:

• Housing Professionals
• Housing Advocates
• Business Community
• Government or Quasi-Government Agencies
