Rent Relief Specialist – Temporary, Part - Time

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities of Cumberland County (CCHRA) seek a temporary, part-time (20 hours per week) Rent Relief Specialist to provide resources and support for individuals in need of rental assistance caused by the COVID pandemic. The candidate is responsible for explaining the program requirements and reviewing and gathering the necessary documents and information to complete an application. Computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook, spreadsheets, calendar, e-mail, and database software are needed to perform work assignments. Equal Opportunity Employer

Custodian - Part Time

The Redevelopment Authority of Cumberland County is seeking a 22 hour per week part-time Custodian for several properties located in Carlisle/West Shore area of Cumberland County. Paid vacation, sick and holiday. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; cleaning of office areas, laundry rooms, hallways/staircases, community rooms and community bathrooms. Education sufficient to read, write, basic math skills and ability to handle objects up to 30 pounds is required. INFORMATION REPORTING SPECIALIST

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (CCHRA) are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated individual to maintain the information and reporting processes for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships, and other state and federally funded programs. The Information/Reporting Specialist will set-up, fund and change activities in HUD's Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) and track accomplishment data and create reports.

Experience in IDIS is preferred. Candidate must be computer literate and have a strong knowledge of Excel and Word. Some direct experience with federal programs (CDBG, HOME, etc.) is preferred. Good personal and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to deal with the general public is required.

HOUSING CASE MANAGER - Part Time

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (CCHRA) is seeking a qualified Housing Case Manager. This position provides housing-focused case management and coordinates supportive services to homeless, disabled participants by coordinating referrals from outside agencies, as well as identifying and addressing barriers to long-term housing.

This is a part-time (25 hours/week) position, based on available grant funding. Part time position includes paid vacation and sick leave.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred. Direct case management experience is preferred. College experience can be substituted by three or more years of satisfactory employment in social work experience in management, housing, or social work with seniors and/or disabled persons.

Rehab Specialist

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (CCHRA) are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated individual to administer and execute rehabilitation type activities funded through federal, state and other grant and private sources. This position is full-time and will work with other staff, government and outside agencies, homeowners, property and business owners and contractors to secure funding and maintain compliance of projects.

The ability to read and write specifications for construction activities, inspection and building code knowledge is preferred. Candidate must be computer literate and have a strong knowledge of Excel and Word. Good personal and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to deal with the general public is required.
