MAINTENANCE SUPERVSOR

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authority seeks a full-time Maintenance Supervisor responsible for Public Housing sites owned by CCHRA. This position is a working supervisor responsible for planning and directing maintenance staff of approximately five and all contracted maintenance services at designated sites. Candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in general maintenance, including specific training or experience in HVAC, plumbing, woodworking, tile setting, roofing, kitchen equipment, carpentry, refrigeration, electrical and grounds maintenance. Must be willing to be part of the rotating on-call schedule, covering evenings and weekends. Supervisory and computer experience preferred. Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent is required. Must possess a current driver’s license, PA state minimum insurance, clean driving record, and have use of personal vehicle to travel between sites. Housing Case Manager

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (CCHRA), Special Needs Housing Department, is seeking a qualified Housing Case Manager candidate to join our team.

This a full-time (37.5 hours) position involving the administration and implementation of programs for independent living housing services, serving homeless and disabled populations. This position provides housing-focused case management and coordinates supportive services to homeless, disabled participants by coordinating referrals from outside agencies, as well as identifying and addressing barriers to long-term housing.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred. . Direct case management experience is preferred. College experience can be substituted by three or more years of satisfactory employment in social work experience with mental health and/or substance abuse, housing, or social work with seniors and/or disabled persons.

MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities seek a full-time Maintenance and Construction Director responsible for all maintenance functions at sites owned and/or managed by CCHRA. This position is responsible for supervising, planning and directing maintenance staff and all contracted maintenance services, including Labor Compliance, Section 3 Compliance, Procurement Contracts, Housing & Commercial Rehabilitation and Homeownership projects. Although the position is not intended to be a working supervisor, the candidate may need to do some hands on work and shall possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in general maintenance, including specific training or experience in HVAC, plumbing, woodworking, tile setting, roofing, kitchen equipment, carpentry refrigeration, electrical and grounds maintenance. Computer skills as well as administration and supervisory experience are required. Supportive Services Coordinator

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (CCHRA) are seeking a full-time, 37.50 hours/week, Supportive Services Coordinator to provide case management and coordinate supportive services to residents of multiple buildings in the West Shore and Carlisle areas. Looking for a self-motivated, caring individual to help connect seniors, families, veterans and/or persons with mental health disabilities to local agencies to help meet their needs. A degree in Human Services or related field and at least one year experience in casework, preparing service plans and management of varied caseload and case management. Knowledge of agencies, services and resources in the community is preferred. Individual must have proficient computer skills; a valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT - TAX CREDIT RESIDENT MANAGER - PART TIME - PERRY COUNTY

Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities seek a part-time (18 hrs/wk) Resident Manager for Tax Credit properties in Perry County (Newport and Loysville). Must have a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation to travel between sites. Looking for a responsible, self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Experience in property management and fair housing is helpful to handle the normal management duties, including but not limited to lease-up, rent collections, rent calculations, ongoing tenant related and reporting functions. Minimum of high school graduate is required, but an Associate’s Degree is preferred.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities seek a full-time Maintenance Technician with primary duties in Carlisle. This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency, vocation training in the building trades and/or direct experience and working knowledge of electric, plumbing, carpentry, appliance and heating repair. Responsibilities include minor maintenance repairs to buildings; preventative maintenance; preparation of turnover units; snow/ice removal; grounds keeping/landscaping; frequent handling of objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Willingness to work as part of a rotating “on-call” team involving weekends and holidays is mandatory. A valid driver’s license, PA state minimum insurance, clean driving record, and use of a reliable vehicle are necessary to travel between sites.
