Supportive Services Coordinator

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (CCHRA) are seeking a full-time, 37.50 hours/week, Supportive Services Coordinator to provide case management and coordinate supportive services to residents of multiple buildings in the West Shore and Carlisle areas. Looking for a self-motivated, caring individual to help connect seniors, families, veterans and/or persons with mental health disabilities to local agencies to help meet their needs. A degree in Human Services or related field and at least one year experience in casework, preparing service plans and management of varied caseload and case management. Knowledge of affordable housing, local agencies, services and resources in the community is preferred. Previous experience in working with elderly, and mixed populations is a plus. Individual must have proficient computer skills; a valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Maintenance Tech- Public Family Housing

The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities seek a full-time Maintenance Technician for Public Family Housing with primary duties in Carlisle. This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency, vocation training in the building trades and/or direct experience and working knowledge of electric, plumbing, carpentry, appliance and heating repair. Responsibilities include minor maintenance repairs to buildings; preventative maintenance; preparation of turnover units; snow/ice removal; grounds keeping/landscaping; frequent handling of objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Willingness to work as part of a rotating “on-call” team involving weekends and holidays is mandatory. A valid driver’s license, PA state minimum insurance, and use of a reliable vehicle are necessary to travel between sites. No phone calls please.

Laborer

The Redevelopment Authority of Cumberland County is seeking a Laborer for several properties located in Carlisle/West Shore area of Cumberland County. Paid vacation, sick and holiday. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; mowing, weeding, mulching and planting; snow/ice removal, cleaning of office areas, laundry rooms, hallways/staircases, community rooms and community bathrooms. Education sufficient to read, write, basic math skills and ability to handle objects up to 30 pounds is required.
