Maintenance Technician
The Cumberland County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities seek a full-time (37.5 hrs/week) Maintenance Technician with primary duties in Carlisle, PA.
Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency, vocation training in the building trades and/or direct experience and working knowledge of electric, plumbing, carpentry, appliance and heating repair.
Responsibilities:
- minor maintenance repairs to buildings
- preventative maintenance
- preparation of turnover units
- snow/ice removal
- groundskeeping/landscaping
- frequent handling of objects weighing up to 80 pounds
Willingness to work as part of a rotating “on-call” team involving weekends and holidays is mandatory.
A current, valid driver’s license and use of a reliable vehicle is necessary to travel between sites.
