Revitalizing Our Communities

The Cumberland County Redevelopment Authority is committed to revitalization of our communities. We are fortunate to be able to work through the Blighted Property Reinvestment Board and Land Bank to reinvent abandoned, blighted, and nuisance properties –thus bringing these properties back to productive use. When blight abates, homeowner equity rises, and people feel a greater sense of pride in their neighborhoods.

We also utilize the Cumberland County Demolition Fund and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program in our work. These programs make it easier to work with homeowners to renew the housing stock in areas that may need updating.
